Painted hazelnuts. Plus another idea, possibly for Christmas or patchwork

Two ideas I've been working on.
The first one is. I collected a few of last year's hazelnuts on our walk. The squirrels didn't want them, honestly! This years are already falling. I decided I would paint them gold for autumn and Christmas decorations. They look very pretty. I used gold sparkly fabric paint. I bought it from a local craft store.
The silver rings started out as gold curtains rings. I used silver metallic wool to bind the angel ring and silver thread for the butterfly ring. I attached the charms by sewing through the loop directly on to the ring.
I might use the angel ring in patchwork. I intend making a few for Christmas tree decorations.
Quite easy and quick projects to make.
